The electric power steering now has improved to a 3-point mounting instead of 2-point mounting to reduce the vibrations transferred through rough roadway. The lower control arm bushes, sub-frame bushes and mounting bushes have been stiffened to improve steering feel and response as well as cornering grip. The braking system also gets an improvement – a new vacuum booster for better pedal response. The body joints of Mazda 3 on the chassis have been improved for better sound proof. The rear mono-tube shocks have also been recalibrated, and the front and rear anti-roll bars have a new more substantial mounting arrangement.
Other optional features include Bluetooth connectivity, keyless entry and push-button start.
