Have you ever heard that chubby people are friendlier and live longer compared to the thin man? Even Shakespeare wrote that he would trust a fat man better than a lean one. Well, if it’s true for human beings, it may also be true for cars. Honda has introduced a new car, Puyo. The name means something soft and spongy in Japanese.
Puyo is designed with all rounded edges and no sharp angles. Thus, it has a chubby and cute look which makes it stand out from other small cars. Besides, it will be the latest forerunner in pedestrian safety when it is introduced around 2020. Covered in soft silicone, there’ll probably be no dents or broken bones if it is involved in minor crashes. While the soft material may be fortunate when involved in crashes with pedestrians, it may not be so safe for the driver and passengers involved in heavy crashes. Belying its comical look, it is equipped with environmentally friendly fuel-cell which creates electricity from hydrogen fuel while emitting only water.
