The long-awaited new Toyota Vios has finally be presented in Malaysia, comes with a wonderful new look, both in the interior and exterior. The 2-nd generation Toyota vios that will be launched in coming Oct 19 is available in three versions including 1.5G and 1.5S mid range and high end 1.5S sporty models, with a choice of four colours which are silver, black, blue and gold.

All versions are come equipped with an amazing 1NZ-FE engine (In-Line 4-Cylinder, DOHC, 16-Valve, VVT-i) that performs 109PS at 6,000rpm and 141Nm of torque at 4,200rpm. In addition, this engine is mated to a 4-speed automatic gearbox with Super ECT and Gate Shifter. As what you see in the photo, the overall design of the second generation Toyota Vios is similiar to the Toyota Yaris, using a centrally mounted meter panel.

“The company has invested more than RM300mil to acquire the latest high-tech equipment and requisite tooling as well as improve the production processes for the new Vios,” said Datuk David Chen, managing director of UMW Toyota Motors Sdn Bhd.

The pricing of the latest Toyota Vios is expected to be priced in between 78,900-88,600 ringgit Malaysia and would be confirmed on October 19. The all-new Toyota Vios is expected to be a next leader drive in its class!
