Mercedes-Benz has introduced a newly developed Blind Spot Assist radar-based system, which aimed for improving road safety when changing lanes. The famous automobile company has included six short-range radar sensors to this innovative system in order to detect the vehicles lurking in blind spots. In addition, a red warning symbol will appear in the exterior mirror glass if a “danger car” is detected.

The new Mercedes-Benz’s Blind Spot Assist System that focus on crash-avoidance is an option for S and CL-Class models. Hopefully, this type of drive-safety system will get popular as soon as possible!
