The Shelby Supercars (SSC) twin-turbo V8 Ultimate Aero TT has ended the Bugatti Veyron’s reign as the world’s fastest car after it hit a staggering 257mph. The test of a series of speed runs was validated by Guinness World Records and monitored by Dewetron. This Ultimate Aero is powered by a 6,3-litre twin-turbo V8 that churns out 882 kW at 6 950 r/min and 1 483 N.m at 6 150 r/min.
This supercar also boasts a lot of the comforts found in a luxury sedan including leather interior, 10 speaker audio/DVD system, navigation system, a backup camera and a cab-controlled lift that raises the front an extra four inches which aimed to help avoid hazards on the road.
