The German automobile manufacturer, Audi has recently announced a pair of new engines to the A5, which are labeled as 2.7 TDI and the 3.2 FSI, where each of them features combined with continuously variable multitronic transmission.
In addition, the 3.2L gasoline engine isn’t exactly a whole new powerplant, the company has used it extensively in the past but the engineers have “updated” the direct injection and variable life control to give you a little more umph. 265hp of umph, to be exact. It accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 6.6 seconds. The 3.2L engine will be available in the US at launch this fall.
The 2.7 TDI has a power output of 140 kW (190 bhp). This model’s peak torque of 400 Nm is available at between 1,400 and 3,250 rpm. Both of the two new models in the Audi A5 model line are available from $56,000 for the Audi A5 2.7 TDI and $60,000 for the 3.2 FSI.
