Nissan Motor Co has introduced the Dualis mid-size crossover sport utility vehicle in Japan. Its known as Qashqai in Europe. Dualis was developed by Nissan’s European design and engineering centres.
The Dualis is powering by MR20DE engine with 2.01 four-cylinder block should develop up to 140bhp and 193Nm. All versions will come with the XTRONIC CVT-M6 continuously variable transmission, with a six-speed manual shift mode.
Dualis styling fuses a sporty with the compact body size and efficient vehicle packaging come a cosseting interior and a large luggage area. Its inside include a combination meter cluster with a sporty, aluminium-looking panel, round ventilation ducts, a metallic finish shift knob and a centre console box. There’s also a large, stylish 6mm-thick laminated privacy glass roof, which lends the interior a spacious, airy feeling.
Its safety features by front-seat Active Head Restraints, dual SRS front and side airbag, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), ABS, EBD and Brake Assist. The Dualis will be offered in a choice of five body colours – Diamond Silver and four all-new colours, Urban Cement Gray, Meto Black, Cafe Latte Beige and Reddish Copper.
Dualis at the domestic market price range from 1.95mil to 2.43mil yen and hope to be sell 2000 units per month.
