Built with a shark-type nose and deep set headlights, it looks mean and packed with aggression. And it gets and inverted grilled, along the lines of a fighter jet engine. That’s the all new Lancer sports saloon, which takes its aesthetic cues from the Concept-X and the Concept-Sportback creation.
The Lancer sports sedan will be launched in Europe next year and the car’s series will progressively expand to offer a complete line-up.
Split into four powertrain levels (entry, mid-range, upper-range and supercar), it will propose five different engines, including the VAG-supplied 140ps – 2.0 I common Rail Diesel, which is already fitted to the GRandis Di-D and the Outlander Di-D.
The pictures and details of the Lancer sports saloons were recently released by Mitsubishi Motors Japan. Find out more from Mitsubishi!
